TravelEngine is a WordPress plugin suite built specifically for travel businesses. We currently offer three products:
- Fixed Departure Pro — Manage tours & fixed departure bookings with payment gateways.
- StaySync Pro — Hotel & property booking plugin with OTA channel manager sync.
- AI Packing List — Free AI-powered packing list generator for travelers (forever free).
No. TravelEngine plugins are completely independent — they do not require WooCommerce. All payment processing is handled directly through integrated gateways like Razorpay, PayU, Instamojo, and others. This keeps your setup lightweight and fast.
TravelEngine plugins are compatible with WordPress 6.0 and above. We recommend keeping WordPress updated to the latest version for best performance and security. PHP 7.4 or higher is also required.
Yes! Our plugins work with any well-coded WordPress theme. The booking widgets and forms are embedded via shortcodes and render correctly regardless of your theme. For best results, we recommend using a theme with a clean layout like our own TravelEngine theme.
License & Billing

After a successful payment, your license key and plugin ZIP download link are sent instantly to your email. You activate the license inside your WordPress dashboard under the plugin's settings. Each license is tied to one active website at a time.
Both plans include all features with no restrictions. The Annual plan saves you 25% (equivalent to 2 months free) compared to paying monthly. With annual, you pay once per year and get uninterrupted access. You can switch between plans from your dashboard.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your TravelEngine dashboard. After cancellation, your plugin will continue to work until the end of your current billing period. After that, automatic plugin updates will stop but the plugin itself remains installed on your site.
Plan subscriptions are processed securely via Razorpay, which accepts UPI, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), net banking, and wallets. All transactions are encrypted and your payment details are never stored on our servers.
Plugin Usage
How to install, activate, and use Fixed Departure Pro, StaySync Pro, and AI Packing List.
After payment, you'll receive an email with your plugin ZIP file and license key. Install it like any WordPress plugin:
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the ZIP file and click Install Now
- Activate the plugin
- Go to the plugin settings and enter your license key
Fixed Departure Pro includes 7 built-in payment gateways: Razorpay, PayU, Instamojo, Cashfree, CCAvenue, PayPal, and bank transfer. You can enable/disable gateways from the plugin settings and accept payments directly on your WordPress site without WooCommerce.
OTA (Online Travel Agency) sync keeps your room availability in sync with platforms like MakeMyTrip, Booking.com, Airbnb, and Goibibo via a channel manager API. This prevents double bookings — if a room is booked on Booking.com, it's automatically blocked on your website too.
Yes! AI Packing List is completely free with no hidden charges. It uses Google Gemini AI to generate smart, weather-aware packing lists for 11 trip types. You can install it on your travel website to offer added value to your visitors at zero cost.

How we support you, update timelines, and what to do when something goes wrong.
As long as your subscription is active, you receive automatic plugin updates directly in your WordPress dashboard — just like any other plugin. You'll see an update notification and can update with one click. No need to manually download and reinstall.
Support depends on your plan:
- AI Packing List (Free) — Community forum support
- Fixed Departure Pro — Email support with 48-hour response time
- StaySync Pro — Priority email support with 24-hour response + free 1-on-1 onboarding call
First, check your spam/junk folder — automated emails sometimes land there. If it's not there within 5 minutes of payment, please contact our support team with your payment reference number. We'll resend your license key manually within a few hours.
TravelEngine Theme
Common questions about installing, using, and licensing the TravelEngine WordPress theme.
The TravelEngine Theme is a complete WordPress theme with trek management, hotel bookings, and payment processing built in. Unlike the standalone plugins (Fixed Departure Pro, StaySync Pro) which you install on any theme, the TravelEngine Theme is an all-in-one solution — one purchase, one setup, fully functional out of the box.
After purchase, you'll receive a theme ZIP file via email. Install it like any WordPress theme: go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme, upload the ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate. Enter your license key in Appearance → Theme Settings to enable automatic updates.
WooCommerce is recommended but not mandatory for basic bookings. The theme has its own built-in checkout for treks and hotels using Razorpay and Stripe. If you want to sell physical merchandise (gear, accessories) alongside travel bookings, then WooCommerce integration is supported for that purpose.
Yes! The TravelEngine Theme includes 5 hotel page color schemes — Classic, Dark, Forest, Ocean, and Minimal. You can select a different color theme per hotel property from the hotel settings page in your WordPress dashboard. No coding needed.
